SPIRITBOX: Courtney LaPlante joins Megan Thee Stallion on stage at Coachella

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion brings Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante out to perform their collaborative song “TYG” at Coachella this year.

Coachella, the huge US music and arts festival, showcased some huge names over weekend, including Green Day, Lady Gaga, Missy Elliot, and The Original Misfits. Megan Thee Stallion’s performance took place on Sunday, sharing the day with Post Malone and Chase & Status. Her performance wasn’t alone though, as the rapper brought several guests onstage with her - including Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox, who joined her for a live rendition of their 2024 collab track “TYG”.

Megan also brought out other special guests during her set, including Queen Latifah, Victoria Monét, and Ciara. Her latest album Megan: Act II features even more high-profile collabs, with appearances from K-pop superstars TWICE and RM of BTS.

Megan Thee Stallion has collaborated with Spiritbox on multiple tracks, including an officially endorsed remix of the rapper’s song Cobra. Then, last year, they were announced as a guest on TYG, which appeared on an extended edition of Megan Thee Stallion’s third studio album, Megan. This weekend marked TYG’s live debut.
